Here are a few pictures we shot at the Golden Super Cruise in Golden, Colorado, last week. It’s held the first Saturday of every month, May-October, and starts out at the South Golden Road merchants, where we bulk up on carbohydrates at Sonic, Pizza Hut, McDonalds, etc., tell each other lies about our cars, and listen to the golden oldies from Van Jeffries Mobile Rock and Roll Show. Then around 7:30 PM we all roll out and cruise downtown Golden. Seems like half the town turns out to sit on the curbs and watch the show. The enthusiastic crowds are full of young kids yelling “Awesome”, as we all get our cheap thrills by seeing our rides being adored. The local Police and Chamber have been very good to us, and a grand old time is had by all...the way it used to be....
