This 1953 BMW R25/3 is said to have been owned by the selling dealer’s uncle for approximately 50 years until it was acquired by the selling dealer in May 2023. The bike is equipped with a Steib LS200 sidecar and is powered by a 247cc OHV four-stroke single paired with a four-speed transmission. Additional equipment includes an exposed driveshaft, a sprung Pagusa saddle, a hinged rear fender, a Dell’Orto carburetor, a polished torpedo-style muffler, a leading-axle fork, plunger shocks, a steering damper, alloy rims, and drum brakes. The steel-bodied sidecar features a single seat with red vinyl upholstery and matching armrests as well as a weldless tube-steel frame, knee-action suspension, a valanced fender, an 18″ wire-spoke wheel, and a cobra-handle running light. This R25/3 sidecar rig is now offered with a clean Florida title.
The bike is finished in black with white pinstriping, and it features a 3.1-gallon fuel tank, a hinged rear fender, and a black rubber Pagusa solo saddle suspended on a chrome horizontal spring.

Shouldered 18″ alloy rims are mounted with Trayal tires. Suspension consists of a conventional leading-axle fork up front and a pair of shrouded plunger shocks at the rear. Braking is handled by 160mm drums at both ends.
The Steib LS200 is a single-seat sports chair manufactured by Steib Metallbau of Nürnberg, Germany, that was designed for use with motorcycles up to 250cc. This example features a rubber-sprung steel body that is finished in black with polished stainless-steel trim and mounted on a weldless tube-steel frame with knee-action suspension. Additional features include a red vinyl seat with matching padded armrests, a rear luggage compartment, luggage tie-down brackets, a pivoting valanced fender, and a cobra-handle running light. The chrome 18″ wire-spoke wheel is mounted with a Metzeler Perfect ME 11 tire and is secured with a Steib two-eared knock-off nut.
