VA Car Show Returning in 2020

The VA Car Show is returning in 2020, presenting a showcase of the very best in the mid-Atlantic automotive world! Check out amazing creations like restored classics, speedy pro street machines and wild display vehicles displayed beneath the lights at the Hampton Roads Convention Center.

Modern Muscle, custom motorcycles, pro touring rides and jaw-dropping customs travel from across the USA to show VA what they've got! The local car community is always in attendance too, including the Hampton Roads Camaro Club, Tidewater Street Rod Association and Classic Cruisers. Street Dreams Corvette club will be showing off the true American sportscar: the Corvette.

For 2020, show producer Brad Hoffman has some tricks up his sleeve! For one thing, he's bringing in one of world's Top Camaros – “Nickle Back,” built by Superior Autoworks and Ed Denkenberger. Owners Chris and Greg Allen have set the show circuit on fire with this build. Don’t miss the Autorama Ridler Finalist Great 8 car 2018; she’s just returned from SEMA and won the Mothers Shine award in 2018. This car was also the feature car in the Mothers booth at SEMA in 2019. When you see this build in person, it shows you what top-level builds are all about! From the engine to the paint work, the custom undercarriage, shaved tail lights, custom fabricated interior... every nut and bolt on this car is custom.

The rest of the show is not to be missed either. With the Lee Petty tribute car from Daniels Performance, title sponsor Bay City Classics will have autos in attendence to rival the Nickle Back. They will display a fresh Mustang build alongside several other top builds. Tims Customs' paint is not to be missed. Audio One will be on site too, showing their work along with vendors like Hall's Auto Glass and many more showing off their products and services.

A custom motorcycle display put together by Will Sorey and Monte Hill showcases top two-wheel creations. Don’t miss Patrick Dewiitt’s amazing VW Beetle; the OBX SS is always a stunner. Ricky Ashworth’s Pro Street Truck will park right next to Marvin Blaylock’s Badass Orange Pro Street beast! Plus, new this year is the Land of the Hurricane no prep cars with Terris Hicks.

The gathering of the VA Car Show Crew on the convention center floor is an annual feature of Virginia’s indoors car show world. This event is their pride and joy, a wonderful time for a crowd that flocks to this show each and every year, meant to please the car builders, general public and the shops and talented custom car collectors.

Don’t miss the great DJ Music or the “design your own Hot Rod” area for kids, presented by the Hampton Roads Camaro Club. Top it all off with a pic with Batman and Batgirl. So much to see and do. Get your motor running for this ultimate display of automotive    passion of all types. We’ll have awards for the participants and giveaways for the kids.
