Warbirds, Wings and Wheels IX

In nine short years, this has become one of the top shows on the Central Coast - this year being no exception. With a wide variety of participants, from hot rods, pickups, classics, Mustangs and Cobras to recently off the line muscle cars and Corvettes, there is something for every interest.

The judging teams are assigned specific classes to inspect, with a nice wall plaque for each class winner; in addition, there is the usual 50/50 drawing, a large variety of door prizes that are drawn throughout the show and, at the end of the show, there are participant only drawings for cash prizes in the amounts of $600, $400 and $200 dollars - how often do you see that?

New this year was the addition of the MEGA SWAP MEET; with the first being held in September 2016, they decided to offer it also in conjunction with the Annual show… It's proving to be a big success, as the adjoining runway was packed for more than ¼ mile with rows of automotive parts, pieces and memorabilia…

You might want to include this in next year’s planning of ‘must attend’ shows, as in addition to the above, you are in the noted Estrella Warbirds Museum which, combined with the famed Woodland Auto Display, moves you into overload on many of the finest military and automotive vehicles you will encounter.
