I got to Wallenpaupack High School around 9am. At that time, I didn’t expect to see too many entrants, but I was fooled. There were well over twenty cars in the parking lot and a lot of activity going on. Off on one side was an interesting vehicle. On closer inspection, it was a Polaris Slingshot trike, as opened up as possible. Anyone not familiar with these vehicles would have been impressed by the trike. Also waiting on the side was Shanty Hill racing’s dirt track runner. Lots of work was being done at this early hour.

As the morning moved along, cars began to arrive. Of note were a ‘34 Plymouth Sedan, a fine looking vehicle, plus an early Chevrolet what appeared to be a rather rare, at least to me, two door delivery vehicle.

The show was well handled by the ‘Sons,’ who controlled the traffic flow and the parking arrangements quite nicely. All in all, the show seemed to be quite a success. The proceeds from the event will be donated to Endorsed American Legion Charities and Veterans Projects.

It was a fun event for entrants and families. Squadron 311 provided food and beverage throughout the event.
